12th of November saw the inaugural Major Minor Music Australia Awards (The Ma’s) take hold and what a day it was.
With a amazing performances from Angie Who, The Vegetable Plot, The Quokkas, Benny Time and Justine Clarke, this was a day filled with Australian Children’s Music elite and the room was electric with the anticipation of something big.
MC’d by our very own Benny Thatcher, the event went off without a hitch, and those who came left with a a whole swag of new friends and new ideas.
Big congrats to The Mid Maks for Taking Out the Kinderling Children’s Choice award. The beanies for Best Album, Pevan and Sarah fro Apra Song of the Year, and the sticker club for best clip and enormous thank you to the children who cae to sing along with us and give us support.
This is the start of something big, we can feel it in our bones.
