This prestigious industry recognition highlighted his dynamic and poignant songwriting for primary-aged audiences. In 2022, his music video Ain’t Many Like Lennie was picked up and broadcast by SBS TV, later featured on SBS On Demand.
These celebrated songs are woven through his live performances with the All Sorts band, delivering witty lyrics and catchy melodies—complete with playground rap and a touch of mathematics.
With over a decade of experience touring and performing at music festivals across Australia and Timor-Leste, CJ Shaw is an exciting musician at the top of his game. His anticipated children’s album Cha Ching—a ‘best of’ collection of his kids’ songs, road-tested in primary schools—is set for release in late 2025.
